Welcome! This is a temporary site while we are
constructing our new web site.
We are currently established as a “Senior” squadron
with members required to be at least 18 years old.
You do not need to be a pilot and no previous
experience is required. Comprehensive training
is provided for air “crews” and ground “teams”
to support each mission.
Our emphasis as an adult squadron is on emergency
services. 95% of the nation’s search and rescue
efforts are performed by the Civil Air Patrol.
With the vast wilderness and many outdoor
recreations that northern Michigan has to offer,
the Civil Air Patrol has many opportunities to be
of service.
